Summer on the mount

The Sermon on the Mount is perhaps one of the most misunderstood teachings of Jesus. Conduct was always intended to flow out of character. Yet religion tends to focus on an external artificial form of righteousness instead of a righteousness that begins internally, in the heart. In the summer of 2022 we looked at the Beatitudes of Jesus and this summer we will continue with some of Jesus’ teachings from the rest of Matthew chapter 5 and chapters 6-7.
