“Self-care” is taking ownership for taking care of myself. If I can’t take care myself physically, how am I going to fulfill God’s will for my life? Should I compromise my health for things that seem more important? God says that there is time for everything. There are reasons that I may not be taking care of myself but God doesn’t want me to neglect my physical health. Taking care of my spiritual life doesn't mean my physical life isn't important.
