If the church is supposed to be a safe place where you can find love, peace and trust, how is it that some have experienced conflict, slander, unkindness, partiality, abuse, betrayal, and even trauma among other things in a church environment? Is healing in a church even possible after having been hurt by the church? After all, church was God’s idea but how?
