Covid-19 protocols Update

As most of us are aware, COVID-19 numbers are (sadly!) on the rise once again.   Positivity rates and hospitalizations are approaching where we were at the beginning of the year with the new Delta variant.  And to make matters worse, all of this is happening as school is starting again!

That being said, we want to be proactive in helping mitigate the spread of the virus and, as always, do everything we can to provide for the health and safety of our church family and guests.  So, after much discussion with our Staff Leadership Team and Steve Bass, head of our Life Safety Team, we have decided to REQUEST that everyone please wear face coverings during our Sunday Worship Services and all other church sponsored events.  If you have your own face covering, you can wear it.  If you don't have one, we have lightweight, breathable, surgical masks available as you enter through the front doors of the church building.

As we monitor the situation over the next several weeks for future recommendations, we will continue to encourage social distancing, hand hygiene and self-screenings.  We ask if anyone has potentially been exposed or is showing any symptoms of COVID-19, to please follow all quarantine protocols and join us online @

I realize that we would all prefer not to wear face coverings, but from the start of this pandemic, all of the decisions that we have made have been rooted in LOVE.  From the beginning, our response has been based on the following verses:  Philippians 2:3-5 NIV, Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves, not looking to your own interests but each of you to the interests of the others. In your relationships with one another, have the same mindset as Christ Jesus.  What was the mindset of Jesus?  He didn't cling to (demand) his rights (vv.6-8).  He gave them up out of love for others!

We can do this church family!  Love is everything!  We made this small sacrifice for others before, we can do it again.  On behalf of the Springdale Staff and our Life Safety Team, thank you for your patience and continued trust!  If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact our church office.
